DONEGAL WOMAN SCOOPS €37K ON LOTTO GAMESHOW

Donegal andBrian Ormond, Gameshow host.The third show of the National Lottery’s Summer TV Gameshow ‘The Big Money Game’, hosted by Sinead Kennedy and Brian Ormond, took place in RTÉ Studios last Saturday, 23 June 2012. The five players from Donegal, Wicklow (2), Galway and Waterford won prizes to the value of 407,000. The biggest winner on the night was Donal O’Brien from Galway who won prizes to the value of €276,000. The National Lottery’s ‘Big Money’ Scratch Card offers players the chance to win instant prizes up to €100,000. Honor 20 series launched: Key specs, features, India price and everything you need to know

first_imgThe Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20 and Honor 20i have been launched in India. The three phones are part of the new Honor 20 series that was unveiled in London last month. The Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 are flagship devices with top-end design and hardware that includes a punch-hole display, glass body, Kirin 980 chipset and quad cameras, among other things.The Honor 20i, meanwhile, is a mid-range smartphone that touts a waterdrop display, AI triple cameras and Kirin 710 chipset. The Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 slot in the premium mid-range segments to take on the likes of the OnePlus 7 and Oppo Reno, while the Honor 20i is an affordable mid-range phone for the masses. Here’s everything you need to know about the Honor 20 series launch in India.Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor 20i specificationsDisplay: The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro come with 6.26-inch AllView punch-hole displays with FHD+ (2340×1080) resolution. The Honor 20i sports a 6.21-inch waterdrop display with FHD+ (2340×1080) resolution.Processor: Both the flagships are powered by the 7nm-based Kirin 980 AI chipset with Dual-NPU. The Honor 20i packs a Kirin 710 SoC.RAM: The Honor 20 is offered with 6GB of RAM while the Honor 20 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM. The Honor 20i gets 4GB of RAM.Internal storage: The regular Honor 20 and Honor 20i offer 128GB of internal storage, while the Pro model comes with 256GB of storage.Rear camera: The Honor 20 Pro offers a 48MP f/1.4 primary sensor with OIS, a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle sensor, an 8MP telephoto camera and a 2MP macro camera. The regular Honor 20 gets a similar 48MP main camera but with f/1.8 aperture. It also replaces the telephoto camera for a 2MP depth camera. The glass panel offers a 3D Triple Mesh technology that includes three layers of glass, colour and depth. The panel offers a holographic reflection with subtle gradient effect. The Honor 20 Pro comes in Phantom Blue and Phantom Black gradient colours, while the Honor 20 has been launched in Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Icelandic White colours.– The latest flagship Honor phones come with punch-hole display much like the Honor View 20. With minimal bezels all around the screen and a tiny circular cutout on the top left corner, the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro tout immersive AllView displays with FHD+ (2340×1080) resolution. — The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro are powered by Huawei’s flagship Kirin 980 chipset which is based on a 7nm process. The Kirin 980 SoC promises to deliver a 75 per cent boost in CPU performance over the predecessor and a 58 per cent improvement in power efficiency. The phones also support GPU Turbo 3.0 to offer a seamless and full-frame gaming experience.– WIth the Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20, the company is touting some serious photography power. Both the phones offer quad cameras, only with some changes to the configuration. Both devices offer a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, but only the Pro model gets an ultra wide f/1.4 aperture. They also come with 16MP wide-angle cameras. Additionally, the Pro model gets an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 10x lossless zoom and a 2MP macro lens. The regular Honor 20 trades the telephoto camera for a 2MP depth camera.– Beyond the sensors, the cameras also support features like AIS Super Night Mode, AI Ultra Clarity mode, Super slow-mo recording, Super macro, Pro mode, HDR and so on.– The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro both offer side fingerprint sensors embedded in the power button rather than an in-display fingerprint sensor. The company feels that the side-mounted sensor is faster and more intuitive as it will allow you to unlock the phone instantly with a single tap.– The Honor 20i, on the other hand, brings a waterdrop display, which also allows for over 90 per cent screen ratio and a similar FHD+ resolution. For a mid-range smartphone, the phone looks premium as it gets a glossy rear panel in gradient finishes that include red, blue and black options. — The mid-range Honor 20i touts an AI triple camera setup that includes a 24MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Meanwhile, the Honor 20i has been launched with a 4GB + 128GB configuration at Rs 14,999.The Honor 20 will go on sale on Flipkart starting June 25, while the Honor 20i will be available from June 18. The company will announce the availability of the Honor 20 Pro at a later date. Honor is also offering a 90 per cent buyback guarantee if you return the device within 90 days.
