November 2017 Bowler of the Month – Jordan Richard, Arkansas State – Sr. – Tecumseh, Mich.Richard started November on a high note, helping pace the Red Wolves to a third-place team finish at the Track Kat Klash in Houston, finishing behind national powerhouses Nebraska and reigning national champion McKendree. She finished third in the individual standings for the event with a 216.6 overall average with a total pinfall of 1,083 while earning the 14th all-tournament distinction of her career. The Red Wolves competed in Sam Houston State’s Track Kat Klash and Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Warhawk Classic in the month of November, earning a third-place team finish and top team finish, respectively. The senior standout added another all-tournament honor to her name at the Warhawk Classic to bring her total to 15 – one shy of the program record. At the event in Kenosha, Wisc., A-State finished first as a team ahead of Nebraska, 2017 Southland champion Vanderbilt and McKendree. Richard also finished third individually with a total pinfall of 1,144 and a 228.8 average through five games. A-State next hosts its Mid-Winter Invitational in Jonesboro from Jan. 12 to 14, 2018.
